19 January 2016: Breakthrough Science Society organised a documentary show and discussion programme 'Cosmos' at Karari Inter College in Koshambi district, UP on 19 January 2017. Seminar on “Science in Ancient India: Myth vs. Reality” - Allahabad
5 September, 2016: Breakthrough Science Society, Allahabad Chapter organized a seminar on the topic: “Science in Ancient India: Myth vs. Reality” on 5 th September 2016 at CAV Inter College hall, Allahabad. Dr Soumitro Banerjee, Professor at IISER and General Secretary of Breakthrough Science Society was the main speaker. A large gathering of teachers and students from different colleges and the University participated in the seminar. Dr Pramod Pandey, Director of Planetarium, Allahabad, Dr R P Singh, Professor at ECC College, Dept of Mathematics, Dr Surendra Srivastava, Former HOD, Botany Department, CMP Degree College and Dr Ram Das Yadav, Principal, CAV inter College spoke. Documentary show - Allahabad
13 August 2016: A science documentary show "Cosmos - Part 1" was organised by BSS Allahabad Chapter at Cornelgunj Inter College on 13 August, 2016. More than two hundred students and teachers participated in the programme. National Science Day Program
28 February, Lucknow: A state level discussion was organised in Lucknow on 28 February. Dr Sarjeet Sensarma, Member of State Advisory Body of BSS and Professor in Geology, Lucknow University, was the main speaker. In his speech he elaborated and explained at length what Scientific Outlook is and it’s Importance in the social context. Speaking to the participants, particularly young students & children, he emphasised that they should develop the habit of preparing and asking at least five questions every day, concerning the daily life routine. Mr Jai Prakash Maurya, member of All India Executive Body, in his short speech, spoke on the importance of building a Science Organisation dedicated to the advancement of society. On 2nd August 2015: Acharya P C Ray Birth Anniversary Observed in Allahabad in a Befitting Manner
On 2nd August 2015, on the occasion of birth anniversary of the great humanist scientist Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray, a programme was organized by Breakthrough Science Society, Allahabad Chapter. The students and teachers present on that occasion paid their homage by floral tribute. Students were participated on discussions about life of Acharya Ray. Smt. Kalyani Roy Choudhury, former lecturer of Jagattaron Girls’ Inter College spoke about the life and works of Acharya P C Ray. Mr. Dinesh Mohanta, National Executive Member of BSS also spoke on the occasion.

19-25 June 2015: Summer Camp organized in Allahabad
A weeklong summer camp was organized by Breakthrough Science Society, Allahabad Chapter, in Allahabad from the 19th to the 25th of June at Loha Park of Allapur. Around 45 students participated in the camp. Students learnt science through experiments in the camp. They prepared charts on various scientific issues. The summer camp also included sky watching with telescope and various physical exercises and games. A group of students prepared a number of progressive songs and musical performances also. The camp ended with a programme on the 25th evening in which parents, guardians and local people were invited to see science and musical demonstrations presented by the students. Students also presented an anti-superstition show prepared by them during the camp. 17 June 2015: Medical Camp at Allahabad
A free medical camp was organized in Allahabad at Fatehpur Bichhua (Tagore Town) by Breakthrough Science Society and Medical Service Centre on June 17. A group of volunteers collected medicines and medical aid material. A team of 7 doctors including Dr. Rakesh, Dr. Devendra Bahadur Singh, Dr. Jyot Lal, Dr. Saurabh, and Dr. S.L Yadav gave free medical aid and advice. Mr. Sandeep Singh (D. Pharma) and Mr. Harsh Pratap Singh Parihar (Medical Representative) also gave invaluable help and support in making the camp a success.
